Giakoumakis opened the season with +1600 odds but has surged up the board to +430 and has moved past Messi to win the Golden Boot.
Dealing with a hamstring injury, Messi has been forced to miss four games, which dropped his odds to +490 from +270.
Prior to his injury, Messi had three goals in three regular season matches and two goals in tournament play.
