Young leaves in 4th after crash into wall

Arizona center fielder Chris Young has left the Diamondbacks' game against Pittsburgh with a right shoulder injury after crashing hard into the wall.

Young was injured in the fourth inning Tuesday night while tracking down a fly ball by Pittsburgh's Pedro Alvarez in left-center. Young made the catch, but hit the wall with his right shoulder and his arm in front of his body.

He went down on the warning track and lay on his back there for several minutes as medical personnel attended to him. He was helped up and gingerly walked to the dugout.

The Diamondbacks said Young suffered a shoulder contusion and will have an MRI and other tests on Wednesday.

Young entered the game hitting .405 with five homers and 13 RBIs the first 10 games. He had a two-out double and scored in the first inning against the Pirates.
