Yasiel Puig is joining Bryce Harper's 'make baseball fun again' campaign
Washington Nationals star Bryce Harper has been a player fans clamor over since he came into the league in 2012. He's also one of the most polarizing in baseball, from his brash personality to his campaign to "make baseball fun again." A handful of former and current players have spoken out on Harper's style and comments about the state of baseball, but not all have piggybacked on his wishes.
Yasiel Puig is onboard, though. And he idolizes Harper like many young fans do. In an interview with Marly Rivera of ESPN, Puig shared how he feels about Harper and what he's doing for the game of baseball.
Puig continued to discuss bat flips, particularly Jose Bautista's in the ALDS last year. And obviously Puig also talked in the third-person, as he typically does.
The Dodgers outfielder has gotten off to a slow start this season, but he has the potential to be one of the best and most exciting players in baseball, just as Harper is. He just needs to realize his potential and make good on his ability.
