Yankees, Zack Hample strike deal for A-Rod's 3,000th hit ball
The saga is finally over.
After infamously refusing to negotiate with the New York Yankees on Alex Rodriguez's 3,000th hit ball, notorious ballhawk Zack Hample has finally budged.
A couple weeks ago, Hample said that he would be willing to part with the ball if the team made a "sizable donation" to a charity; it seems like $150,000 was sizable enough.
Hample also said that he was creating a list of demands for himself, but it is unclear if those were met along with the donation.
The #Yankees are donating $150,000 to Zack Hample's Pitch in for Baseball charity in exchange for A-Rod 3,000 ball. #wow
