Yankees' Starlin Castro turns game-saving double play while blowing gum bubble

The New York Yankees found themselves in a jam late in Thursday night's game against the Detroit Tigers. Holding a 5-3 lead over the Tigers in the bottom of the ninth, Aroldis Chapman and the Yankees needed to get out of a no-out, bases loaded situation. With J.D. Martinez at the dish, that didn't seem like an easy task.

However, he grounded one up the middle where Didi Gregorious ranged to his left, flipped it to Starlin Castro from his glove, who then barehanded it and fired a strike to first for the double play. And Castro did all that while blowing a dang bubble.

A run scored on the play, but New York got two outs with one swing and would eventually hold on to win 5-4 after Miguel Cabrera grounded out to end the game. The glove work was great, obviously, but look at that bubble mid-throw!

With the win, the Yankees moved to 25-28 on the year, but still sit 6.5 games back in the AL East.
