Yankees infielder Torres leaves game with 'core pain'
BALTIMORE (AP) — New York Yankees All Star second baseman Gleyber Torres left Tuesday night's game against the Orioles in the third inning with what the team described as "core pain."
Torres left Sunday night's game against Boston with a core muscle injury but was back in the lineup against Baltimore on Monday as the designated hitter, going 0 for 5 with two strikeouts.
He started at second base on Tuesday night, going hitless in two at-bats before leaving in the bottom of the third and being replaced by Breyvic Valera.
