Yankees acknowledge Alex Rodriguez' milestones on Twitter

At the start of the season, one topic of discussion was the New York Yankees' refusal to pay Alex Rodriguez's bonus for when he hit his 660th home run. They didn't even acknowledge that it was an upcoming milestone on their daily sheet.

But now, after Rodriguez has emerged as the Yanks' best player thus far this season, it seems as though the team is changing their stance.

After A-Rod became just the second player in MLB history to record 2,000 runs batted in, the team tweeted out the accomplishment:

They even took it a step further, tweeting a graphic of another approaching milestone for the slugger:

Sure, it's just Twitter, but it sure seems like A-Rod is back in the good graces of the Bronx Bombers.
