Yadier Molina tries to play off embarrassing moment with slick recovery
St. Louis Cardinals' All-Star catcher Yadier Molina has impeccable footwork behind the plate. The eight-time Gold Glove winner rarely makes a misstep on the diamond, expect for Monday night.
In the eighth inning with a runner on first against the Chicago Cubs, Molina did what he's done countless times -- block a pitch in the dirt with perfect form. But as Molina scrambled to corral the ball to keep the runner on first, he tripped over his own feet, causing him fall.
So how do you play off this embarrassing moment? Molina opted to go with a safe sign and a smile.

The Cardinals were all smiles an inning later, when Randal Grichuck hit a walk-off homer.
