Who's pitching tonight? World Series Game 3 starters for Cubs, Indians

On Friday night, Wrigley Field will host its first World Series game since 1945.

With their win in Game 2, the Chicago Cubs tied up the series before heading home to Wrigley, where they will play the Cleveland Indians in Game 3 of the Fall Classic.

After dominant performances from Cleveland's Corey Kluber in Game 1 and Chicago's Jake Arrieta in Game 2, two new starting pitchers will be tasked with giving their team a lead in the series.

Kyle Hendricks will take the mound for the Cubs in his first appearance since pitching a seven-inning shutout against the Dodgers to clinch the Cubs' World Series berth. In three postseason outings this year, the 26-year-old righty has a 1.65 ERA with 11 strikeouts over 16 1/3 innings.

Josh Tomlin will counter for the Indians. The veteran righthander won both of his postseason appearances, starts against the Red Sox and Blue Jays. He now holds a 2.53 postseason ERA over 10 1/3 innings after finishing the regular season with a 4.40 ERA.

Game 3 will start at 8 p.m. ET on Friday with Game 4 following on Saturday at Wrigley.
