Stadiums with retractable roofs are abundant in Major League Baseball. Many teams need the flexibility of a retractable roof to counter-balance the oppressive heat, cold, or impact of the elements on the field. 

Minute Maid Park, the home of the Houston Astros, is one of these stadiums ... and FOX Sports Southwest's Shawn Patrick Ramsey was tech-savvy enough to snap some time-lape video of the roof in action on Monday evening:

The Astros lost Monday night's contest to the Oakland Athletics by a score of 8-1 ... at least the roof looked good!
