Lindor is the first Indian since Kenny Lofton in the 1998 American League Division Series to hit a go-ahead home run in the sixth inning or later of a postseason game, according to Katie Sharp of RiverAvenueBlues.com.
The Indians look to advance to the World Series for the first time since 1997.
This is the first time in which the Indians are in the postseason since the American League wild card in 2013.
