Watch Dodgers icon Vin Scully sign off after his final MLB broadcast

Sunday marked the final game of Vin Scully's iconic 67-year broadcasting career for the Dodgers.

Scully made the trip up to San Francisco for the Dodgers' final three games of the season so he could end his career the only way it should -- calling a Dodgers-Giants game.

After Rob Segedin flew out to end the game, Scully had these words to share with his audience: "I have said enough for a lifetime, and for the last time, I wish you a very pleasant good afternoon."

The screen faded, and those words led into this essay Scully had prepared ahead of time:

And with that, a day's work, a season's work and a lifetime's worth of work had come to an end.

Scully packed up and headed off to catch his flight home into retirement.
