Watch: Altuve gets tackled after walk-off nets Astros big victory
There's very little Jose Altuve can't do.
On Sunday, the Houston Astros' star second baseman demonstrated his knack for heroics by coming up with a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth, plating Jake Marisnick and giving the Astros a huge victory over the Detroit Tigers.
After the hit landed safely in the Minute Maid Park outfield grass, Altuve's teammates came pouring out of the dugout in celebration - and Altuve found himself tackled by a revved-up Carlos Correa. Here's the hit and subsequent delirious fallout:
Altuve acknowledged the importance of every game from here on out for Houston, which opens play Monday 64-54 and with a three-and-a-half game lead in the AL West: "From this moment to all those games that we have left, every game is going to be very important. Today is a big win, tomorrow we've got to win, and if we want to chase the playoffs we have to win."

As for Correa's tackle, Altuve had high marks for that as well. As he said to Rome, "I think if the Texans see that, [they're] going to put him out there."
