This two-year old tweet predicted exactly how the 2016 World Series would go

On the day that the Chicago Cubs officially introduced Joe Maddon as their new manager — Nov. 4, 2014 — one baseball fan took to Twitter with a simple prediction:

In 2016, the Cubs would face the Cleveland Indians in the World Series. The series would go to seven games, according to our soothsaying social media user, but that's not all. This Nostradamus of Twitter also predicted that Game 7 would wind up in extra innings, preceding the end of the world:

You can check the timestamp for yourself; the tweet is 100 percent authentic — and extraordinarily creepy, even if it didn't predict NBA player J.R. Smith removing his shirt to spark Cleveland's late rally.

Fortunately for those of us who enjoy existence, the Cubs broke the tie in the top of the 10th, so the world should be safe from the apocalypse (for now).
