The Dodgers' Josh Reddick just suffered the season's most embarrassing injury

Josh Reddick is no stranger to injuries, but his latest setback is easily the most bizarre of all.

Reddick hasn’t played since injuring a finger on his right hand when holding open a hotel room door Sunday night, the Los Angeles Times reports. Reddick was holding the door for room service when his finger got caught.

“I’m at rock bottom now,” Reddick said. “But I will climb out.”

Reddick isn’t exaggerating, either. Since his trade from the A’s to the Dodgers on Aug. 1, Reddick is batting just .149/.208/.164 and has yet to drive in a run in 18 games.
