The benches cleared when Atlanta Braves reliever buzzed Jose Fernandez's head

There's some bad blood between the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins ace Jose Fernandez.

The tension flared up Wednesday night when Braves reliever Jose Ramirez threw a pitch just behind Fernandez's head as he squared up for a bunt in the seventh inning.

Fernandez immediately started heading for Ramirez, and both teams' benches emptied onto the field. Luckily, there were no further hostilities between the teams and Ramirez was tossed from the game.

Fernandez was also nearly hit in the fifth inning by Braves starter Julio Teheran, though he laughed that one off. Then, Teheran actually did hit Martin Prado in the sixth inning.

Fernandez followed that by hitting Nick Markakis in the bottom of the inning, perhaps sparking the pitch by Ramirez.

Or maybe the Braves are still mad about this incident from three years ago ...
