Splashdown: Giants fan tumbles into McCovey Cove chasing HR ball

Going after a home run ball? Bring your glove. And maybe your swim trunks.

One San Francisco Giants fan didn't bring either to Friday night's game at AT&T Park, but that didn't stop the fan from diving into McCovey Cove chasing Joe Panik's seventh-inning homer.

Check it out in the video above.

The fan got the ball and got fished out, but that letterman jacket may never be the same.

No worries on this night, though, as Hunter Pence hit a grand slam and the Giants beat the Phillies 15-2.
