The Orioles have acquired outfielder-first baseman Mark Trumbo from the Mariners, according to a source, FOX baseball insider Ken Rosenthal reported Tuesday.

The deal is still being worked out and could include another player, but the Mariners will receive veteran catcher Steve Clevenger in return.

The trade was first reported by Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune and Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com.

Trumbo, who turns 30 next month, was traded midseason in 2015 from Arizona to Seattle and posted a .262/.310/.449 slash line with 22 home runs and 64 RBI. Trumbo could replace Chris Davis in the O's lineup should Davis sign elsewhere this offseason.

Trumbo topped 30 homers in consecutive seasons for the Los Angeles Angels in 2012 and 2013. Angels general manager Jerry Dipoto then sent Trumbo to Arizona as part of a three-team trade. Dipoto is now Seattle's GM.

Clevenger, 29, has played in only 69 games over two-and-a-half seasons with Baltimore after coming from the Cubs in the Jake Arrieta deal that's worked out so well for Chicago. Clevenger hit .287 with two homers and 15 RBIs in 30 games for the Orioles.
