Slugging in the rain? Storms could interfere with All-Star Game
A line of strong storms rolling through Cincinnati could make the All-Star Game a wet affair.
Severe thunderstorms moved through the area late Tuesday afternoon, with extremely heavy rain at Great American Ball Park.
The rain eventually let up, though the tarp remained on the infield. That break in the clouds allowed this surreal moment to occur: Giants ace Madison Bumgarner and Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw playing catch on the outfield grass:

Weather reports say the rain is expected to taper off by the scheduled 8:15 p.m. ET start of the game, but showers are possible through the evening.
A severe thunderstorm watch and flash flood watch are in effect until 8 p.m. ET for much of southwest Ohio.
