San Francisco Giants Release Spring Training Schedule for 2017
In case you were missing baseball, the San Francisco Giants have released a tentative spring training schedule for 2017.
The Cubs have been World Champs for all but two weeks and everyone else is over it. The San Francisco Giants have released their tentative schedule for Spring Training in 2017.
The Giants will return to their home in Scottsdale, Arizona for the spring of 2017 again. Scottsdale stadium has always been a great venue to watch a spring game. And I would encourage all Giants fans to consider making a trip there for a game. The absolutely perfect spring break trip!
The Giants will start Spring Training at home, at Scottsdale Stadium against the Cincinatti Reds on February 24th, 2017. Spring Training is also known for split squad games, and the Giants will have two of those. One split squad game will be against the White Sox, and Angels on March 2nd, with the White Sox half playing at Scottsdale Stadium. The next would be with the Reds and DiamondBacks on March 11th, with the home game being against the Reds

All times on the schedule are for home games and cans till be subject to change. As their opponents release their schedules for the Cactus League, those times should be added as well.
One thing to look forward to every spring is the culmination of Spring Training with a full weekend, Bay Bridge Series. With regular season prices potentially through the roof, these “Regular Season Warmups” are a great chance to get out and see the top players. By then, the roster is usally whittled down to the final 25-30 guys. That weekend series sometimes decides a players fate with the roster. The Giants will host the A’s at AT&T Park on March 30th and 31st. They will play at the Collesium on April 1st to round out the Bay Bridge series.
