Royals OF Alex Gordon covers 122 feet to make spectacular diving grab
Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon is a four-time Gold Glove Award winner, and plays like this show why that's the case. In the fourth inning of Thursday night's game against the Detroit Tigers, Gordon robbed Justin Upton of extra bases with a terrific diving grab.
Incredibly, Gordon covered 122.6 feet on the play, which is the second-most by a left fielder this season by Statcast's measure.
It made for a great photo of Gordon and Lorenzo Cain, too.

Despite going 0-for-3 in the game, Gordon still received an ice bath after the 4-0 win from his catcher, Salvador Perez.
If Gordon keeps making plays like this one, he'll win a fifth Gold Glove.
