Orioles extend Yankees' skid to 6 games with 4-1 victory

BALTIMORE (AP) Mark Trumbo hit two home runs, Chris Tillman scattered five hits over seven innings and the Baltimore Orioles extended the New York Yankees' losing streak to six games with a 4-1 victory Tuesday night.

Trumbo hit a solo shot in the second inning and his eighth of the season with a runner on in the fifth. Both homers were off Luis Severino (0-4), who yielded only two long balls in his previous four starts.

Tillman (3-1) allowed one run, matched his career high with nine strikeouts and walked four. The right-hander also fanned nine in his last start, against Tampa Bay.

Brad Brach worked the eighth and Darren O'Day finished for his second save.

Didi Gregorius drove in the lone run for the last-place Yankees, whose six-game skid matches their longest of last season. New York fell to 8-16, including 3-9 on the road.
