Nick Markakis shatters a suite window in Cincy with a screeching foul ball
This is why we can't have nice things, kids.
Atlanta Braves right fielder Nick Markakis sent a seemingly harmless foul ball into the stands at Great American Ball Park in the eighth inning. But it ended up doing plenty of damage:
There will be window replacement.

Luckily, it appears no one was sitting near the window inside the suite. And it did provide a little excitement in a matchup between the National League's two worst teams.
Markakis had three hits and two runs scored -- including the game-winner -- in the Braves' 5-4 victory over the Cincinnati Reds. The game went 11 innings, after which we can only assume Markakis helped repair the window.
