Morosi: Expect Brewers to trade OF Khris Davis

The Milwaukee Brewers' rebuild under new general manager David Stearns will apparently be full-fledged.

FOX Sports MLB insider Jon Morosi reports that the Brewers will likely trade left fielder Khris Davis sometime this year:

With so many free-agent alternatives still available at the position, this isn't the optimal time to trade an outfielder. But look for the Milwaukee Brewers to move left fielder Khris Davis at the July non-waiver trade deadline, if not before then.

In three seasons with the Brewers, the 28-year-old outfielder has averaged 30 home runs and 82 RBI per 162 games with a .250/.315/.494 split.

In his second full season in 2015, Davis hit .247/.323/.505 with 27 home runs and 66 RBI.

As Morosi notes, Davis is one of two players to hit at least 60 home runs while playing in 325 or fewer games since the beginning of the 2013 season.

The other is Chicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu.
