MLB spring training attendance increases in 2011

Attendance at spring training games this year showed a slight increase over last season.

Major League Baseball said exhibition games drew 3,513,720 fans this year, up from 3,509,343 in 2010. This was the third-highest spring training attendance total ever.

The Colorado Rockies set a team record for spring attendance, boosted by 10 straight sellouts at the new complex they share with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
