Lorenzo Cain pulls off unreal catch, going way over the wall to rob a home run
Lorenzo Cain made a pretty convincing case Tuesday to get his first Gold Glove of his career.
In the first inning with a runner of first, Orioles power hitter Pedro Alvarez sent a drive toward left-center field. Cain broke toward the wall, timed his jump and leaped way over the wall to pull down a backhanded catch, denying Alvarez of a two-run homer.

Cain's catch preceded the fifth-inning brawl that drew all the headlines during the Orioles' 9-1 win.
Cain pulled off what could be the play of the year and is easily one of the best plays of his seven-year career. The Royals had three Gold Glove winners last year and maybe this will finally be Cain's year to get the hardware.
