Kearns is released from hospital

Miami Marlins reserve outfielder Austin Kearns has been released from the hospital after complaining of an irregular heartbeat and undergoing tests.

More tests are planned, and Kearns hasn't been cleared to resume baseball activities, but his problem doesn't appear to be serious, manager Mike Redmond said. Kearns was expected to attend Monday night's game against Washington.

The Marlins were also without outfielder Giancarlo Stanton, who was expected to miss his fourth consecutive game Monday because of a bruised left shoulder.
