Josh Donaldson literally has a hole in his glove after this hot smash
Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson garnered his first MVP and Silver Slugger awards last season, but he's still searching for his first Gold Glove. The glove he was using Thursday will not be the one that helps him nab that defensive award.
Donaldson tried to corral this bullet off the bat of Orioles outfielder Joey Richard, but his glove died in the attempt. The hot smash ripped through the webbing of Donaldson's glove, leaving the reigning MVP to look at his defensive tool in amazement.
You had ONE job, glove. https://t.co/cliWyf09cx
