Johnny Cueto does his best Happy Gilmore impression with running swing

Johnny Cueto has one of the most unconventional windups in baseball, simply based on the fact that it's almost never the same from one pitch to another. He's constantly trying to throw off hitters with different tempos on the mound, and he seems to believe it works.

On Thursday, however, he took a different approach at the plate. He took a running start for some reason, essentially introducing baseball to the Happy Gilmore swing.

Ichiro has been known to get a bit of a running start when he swings, much like softball players, but Cueto is a righty, and he's no Ichiro.

The result was an easy groundout to third base. More importantly, it made for a funny video from Cueto.
