Joey Votto had 51 pizzas delivered to Ichiro's locker
Before the Reds-Marlins series opener on Monday, Cincinnati first baseman Joey Votto received a mystery delivery of donuts at his locker from a Miami player.
On Thursday, Votto responded with an absolutely mammoth order of pizza: 51 pies stacked at Ichiro's locker. And not just any slices of heaven, but an order of 51 (Ichiro's number) from California Pizza Kitchen.
The pizzas make have taken a really long journey to Ichiro's locker, too. According to this gentleman, they came from 86 miles away in Louisville, Kentucky -- the nearest CPK location to Great American Ballpark.
Yeah, that's a heck of a delivery. Mmm. Pizza.
