Is Bryant moving to left?

When the Cubs took the field Tuesday night in Miami, star third baseman Kris Bryant trotted out to left field.

The young superstar may change positions in the future as the Cubs try to sort everything out, but what does Bryant think of the move?

“I’m prepared for anything,” Bryant told the Chicago-Sun Times. “I played all over the field growing up. And I think it’s important to have that versatility to play this game.”

Maddon said Bryant's move was not permanent (for now) and that he was just trying to get some flexibility into the roster Tuesday night, but if it does become something more than that he wants to make sure Bryant is comfortable.

“The biggest thing to me is that he’s comfortable doing it,” Maddon said “If he was like totally uncomfortable doing it, I probably would have put Chris [Coghlan] in the outfield [Tuesday]. But you get a guy that’s not uncomfortable doing that, then you’re more apt or willing to do it.”
