Giants pitcher Johnny Cueto pulled off a rare unassisted pickoff

San Francisco Giants starter Johnny Cueto is unlike most pitchers in the fact that his windup is intentionally inconsistent. Sometimes he pauses at the top, and other times he doesn't stop at all and quick-pitches hitters into strikeouts. He did just that on Wednesday, striking out Hernan Perez.

With his unconventional windup also comes an unpredictable pickoff move. Cueto didn't need to use his quick step to first to nab Jonathan Villar, recording the very rare unassisted pickoff. 

Villar took off before Cueto even went into motion, making for the easiest out of the pitcher's career -- and also one of the strangest.

The Giants went on to beat the Brewers 10-1 with Cueto allowing just one run in seven innings for his 10th win of the season.
