Fan says stunt wasn't over Cameron Diaz

A Bronx man busted for running on to Yankee Stadium's field was sentenced Monday to 10 days of community service after claiming it was a publicity stunt — not a deranged effort to hurt slugger Alex Rodriguez for dating Cameron Diaz.

"I wanted to do something stupid," said Grim LeRogue, 33, adding that he hoped to draw attention to his tome "The Illuminati Code Cracked."

Bronx Supreme Court Judge William McGuire did not disagree, cracking, "I always wondered what kind of idiot did that," after LeRogue pleaded guilty to the Oct. 18 frolic during the American League Championship Series game.

LeRogue was carrying photos of A-Rod and Diaz scrawled with messages suggesting he was obsessed with the actress and wanted to harm the third baseman.

But a nine-day psych evaluation gave him a clean bill of mental health.
