Edwin Encarnacion shares heartfelt thank you to Blue Jays fans

For the second year in a row, the Toronto Blue Jays' season ended in an ALCS defeat as the Jays fell to the Cleveland Indians in five games on Wednesday. The home crowd was loud and supportive and very much appreciated by Toronto's 33-year-old designated hitter:

Encarnacion blasted three home runs in the ALDS series against the Rangers but struggled in the ALCS with just four hits in 19 at bats. Coming off another monster season with 42 homers, 127 RBI and a .263/.357/.529 slash line, the free-agent-to-be is going to get paid this offseason, possibly by Toronto, which tried to work out a deal with Edwin in the spring. He's got a bird on his flap and will travel.
