Dodgers infielder Casey Blake activated

Third baseman Casey Blake made his season debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Wednesday's game at Colorado after being activated from the 15-day disabled list.

The 37-year-old Blake went on the DL after injuring his back March 12 during spring training.

The Dodgers had opened a roster spot for Blake, optioning infielder Ivan De Jesus to Triple-A Albuquerque following Tuesday night's game against the Rockies.
