Dodgers' 24-7 network to debut Tuesday night

LOS ANGELES (AP) Los Angeles Dodgers fans who can't get enough of their team now have an outlet for their passion: A 24-hour television network dedicated to all things Dodgers.

SportsNet LA debuts on Tuesday night, a day before the Dodgers open their spring schedule against Arizona. The network is the result of a 25-year, $8.5 billion deal between the Dodgers and Time Warner Cable.

SportsNet LA will feature round-the-clock Dodgers content, and an on-air team that includes Orel Hershiser, Nomar Garciaparra, Charley Steiner and Jerry Hairston Jr.

On Monday, Time Warner announced the channel would be available to Bright House Networks customers in Bakersfield.
