Derek Jeter's adorable little nephew is devastated that he can't wear No. 2 for the Yankees
The Yankees retired the No. 2 for longtime shortstop Derek Jeter Sunday night but 'The Captain' is already considering un-retiring his number for one special person.
Sorta.
After the ceremony at Yankee Stadium, Jeter's biggest fan, five-year-old nephew Jalen, asked 'Uncle Derek' an important question in the most adorable way.
"When I play for the Yankees can I wear your number two?" Jalen asked. And his reaction to Jeter's response was priceless.

The look of devastation on little Jalen's face was enough to make Uncle Derek waver from his original answer. How can you blame him?
