Cubs' Rizzo strikes out in attempt to showcase hockey talents
Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo likely won't be taking his athletic talents to the NHL anytime soon.
Tuesday, Rizzo took part in the Chicago Blackhawks' "Shoot the Puck" contest during the second intermission of the Blackhawks' game against the Nashville Predators.
He may want to stick to using a baseball bat instead of a hockey stick as he missed all three shots he attempted.
See how @Cubs first baseman @ARizzo44 fared playing Shoot the Puck! Hint: He is a great *baseball* player. https://t.co/VWnMDrU64o

Rizzo wasn't exactly raised in a hockey-friendly area in Florida, despite the state currently having two NHL teams, but he did have a "year or two" of experience playing roller and ice hockey in the Sunshine State.
Thanks for having me @NHLBlackhawks. Next time I'm going to try a lefty stick! #fail #didntcomeclose #keepmydayjob https://t.co/xkROWhov4h

Nevertheless, Rizzo showed he certainly made the right choice by pursuing a baseball career.
