Cubs players perform '90s classics at karaoke celebration

The Chicago Cubs (27-9) lost a close one to the Pittsburgh Pirates (19-17) on Sunday but with a day off Monday, players didn't miss an opportunity to go out, cut loose and kick it back to the '90s.

Of course 26-year-old first baseman Anthony Rizzo was barely alive during the '90s but he still knows the words to Notorious B.I.G.'s "Big Poppa."

Rizzo was joined at the Chicago bar/karaoke joint by Dexter Fowler, Jon Lester (who took a no-hitter into the 7th inning on Sunday), John Lackey, Travis Wood and others.

Check them out in action. Here's "Big Poppa" with Rizzo and Dexter Fowler (video via @Zack_Pearson):

And let's close it out with "Wagon Wheel":

Cubs players will have a day to recuperate on Monday and hear first-hand stories about the '70s from 39-year-old catcher David "Granda Rossy" Ross.
