Cubs overwhelming favorites to win 2017 World Series

The Chicago Cubs are heavy favorites to win the 2017 World Series title, coming in as a 3–1 favorite, according to the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.

The Cubs capped off a storybook season, winning their first championship since 1908 beating the Cleveland Indians in seven games after overcoming a 3–1 series deficit.

The Los Angeles Dodgers, Washington Nationals 10-1 and Boston Red Sox are 10–1 favorites, while the New York Mets, Indians and Houston Astros come in a 12–1 favorites.

The Cubs started the 2016 season as a 4–1 favorite for this year's title and rolled to a MLB-best 103 wins, winning the National League Central by 17.5 games.

The Philadelphia Phillies, Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Angels, Arizona Diamondbacks, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, Oakland Athletics and Minnesota Twins, who had baseball's worst record in 2016, are the longest shots to win the title at 100–1.
