Colby Rasmus showed up to Spring Training looking like a yeti

Colby Rasmus got us. He really did.

The Tampa Bay Rays' new outfielder showed up to Spring Training camp on Wednesday looking like a mountain goat bred with a billy goat that had also been bred with snow yetis.

In short, it was glorious.

But, alas, all good things must come to an end. Rasmus appears to have shaved since the photo shoot, and it's looking like this whole thing was a joke.

We wanted to believe, Colby. We wanted a real, Amish/mountain man in the MLB this season. But it looks like we'll have to settle for whatever Madison Bumgarner gives us.
