Clint Dempsey throws first pitch at Mariners game, has photo-op with Robinson Cano
Clint Dempsey is a popular man. From starring on the U.S. Men's National Team and scoring a goal within the first 30 seconds of their first game in the 2014 World Cup to being a key player on the Seattle Sounders of Major League Soccer to his his days with Fulham and Tottenham in the English Premier League, he's done a lot within the world of soccer.
The Seattle Mariners opted to honor him for these accomplishments on Sunday, when he was a guest of honor and threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
For this special event, Dempsey made sure to get his practice throws in...

And unsurprisingly considering Dempsey's all-around ability to excel at anything he does, he threw a strike to Felix Hernandez:
His pitch drew the approval of second baseman Robinson Cano, who made sure to grab a photo with Dempsey:
All in a day's work for one of the more accomplished athletes in the country!
