Chicago Cubs to make 'Saturday Night Live' appearance after World Series win
The Cubs celebrated their first World Series title in 108 years on Friday with an epic parade and rally that looked as though it took over all of Chicago. But the team is far from done with its victory tour.
It looks like some players will make an appearance on this week's "Saturday Night Live," retiring Cubs catcher David Ross reportedly told the MLB Network.
This week's host is "Doctor Strange" star Benedict Cumberbatch, with musical guest Solange Knowles.
No word on whether avid Cubs fan and former "SNL" cast member Bill Murray will also make an appearance.
