Carolina native Seager ready to root for Seahawks in battle with Panthers
Tomorrow, the Seattle Seahawks will take on Cam Newton and the powerful Carolina Panthers in a heated NFC playoff game.
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager is a product of North Carolina - Charlotte, in fact - but he's not showing any signs of being conflicted about which team he's supporting.
On Saturday, the Mariners tweeted out a photo of Seager's customized Seahawks jersey:

The Seahawks replied to the tweet, suggesting that wide receiver Jermaine Kearse might find some inspiration for the game in Seager's jersey - since, after all, both players don No. 15 on the field:
@Mariners maybe this will inspire @chopchop_15 to find the hot corner of the endzone! #Touchdown #SeaHAWKS!!! #SEAvsCAR #NFLPlayoffs
