Cards honor mega-fan, 'Mad Men' star with Hammsome bobblehead
Bobblehead nights are all the rage in the MLB. They attract huge crowds, and the big-headed statues -- usually of beloved players or managers -- often become collectors' items.
But the St. Louis Cardinals are hosting a bobblehead night that's a little different from what we'€™re used to. Aug. 18 will be "Jon Hamm Night" at Busch Stadium. The "Mad Men" and "Million Dollar Arm" star, who played baseball in school, is a St. Louis native as well as a huge Cards fan.
Fans who purchase the special ticket will get a very lifelike bobblehead of Hamm, complete with jeans and a five o'clock shadow. There's also a VIP package that will allow fans to take a professional photo with Hamm before the start of the Cards' game against the Cincinnati Reds.
In other bobblehead news, the Potomac Nationals, Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are giving the first 1,000 fans a free Jayson Werth figurine Saturday.

This bobblehead is unique, as it features what appears to be real (kinda) beard and hair. Check out the face salad and golden locks on this one:
