Cano dons catcher's mask in dugout after getting hit by errant throw
On Saturday, Seattle Mariners star Robinson Cano was forced out of the game after getting beaned by a wild throw from Los Angeles Angels infielder Taylor Featherston -- while resting in the M's dugout.
Cano, who was hit in the head by Featherston's errant throw during warm-ups, had a pretty sizable bump on his head as a result (as seen above). However, Cano made light of the incident on Sunday, donning a catcher's mask in the dugout prior to the series finale:
Slugger Nelson Cruz also adopted Cano's method of ball safety, all in jest, of course:

Let this be a lesson to ballplayers everywhere that you aren't really safe from wayward baseballs ... even if you're not on the field!
