Cam Newton on a baseball mound? Here's what it looks like
Cam Newton is a freakish athlete who probably could have succeeded in several pro sports. In fact, he played baseball and basketball in his younger days.
Although this whole football thing seems to be going pretty well for Cam -- he just led the Carolina Panthers to a 15-1 regular season, he starred in two postseason wins en route to a Super Bowl berth, and he is the likely league MVP -- he'd also look pretty good atop a pitcher's mound
The Charlotte Knights, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, reminded us of that Wednesday, when they shared this tweet of Newton's ceremonial first pitch from this past September.
Still our favorite @CameronNewton photos! Good luck in #SB50, Cam! Go @Panthers! #KeepPounding #OneCarolina #CAMVP pic.twitter.com/EYuz0XNzgg

Hey, you never know, Michael Jordan once played in the White Sox's minor-league system.
