Buehrle, Hawkins give Blue Jays rookies teddy bears to carry around
Ah September.
The rosters have expanded. Every game has playoff implications. And rookies get initiated into the big leagues.
For the Toronto Blue Jays, their rookie initiation is a bit different than the traditional "rookie dress up day" while traveling.
Apparently, veterans Mark Buehrle and LaTroy Hawkins have created Build-A-Bears for Kevin Pillar, Ryan Goins and Marcus Stroman to carry for the next two weeks:
