Bryce Harper sports Katie Ledecky swim cap during Nationals' NL East title celebration
The Washington Nationals clinched the NL East title with a win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday night.
And to commemorate the Nationals' third division title in five years, reigning NL MVP Bryce Harper channeled the spirit of another Washington-area champion, Katie Ledecky, during their postgame celebration.
Harper, as you recall, served as medal holder when the five-time Olympic champion threw out the first pitch at a Nationals game last month.
Apparently, Ledecky gave him her swim cap in return for his services. Which came in handy to protect that prized mane from all that champagne and beer:
