Braves outfielder gives fan a kiss after he interferes with a foul ball
When sitting in the front row at a baseball game, you're told not to interfere with any play that comes your way. This fan didn't get that memo as he reached over the wall to snag a foul ball with his bare hands in the fourth inning of Thursday night's Phillies-Braves game.
Braves left fielder Chase d'Arnaud was giving chase on the play but pulled up just shy of the wall as he realized the fan had caught the ball. Rather than slugging the fan for making a Steve Bartman-like play, he gave him a little kiss on the cheek.
The batter, Cody Asche, was ruled out on the play due to fan interference, which might explain why d'Arnaud gave him a peck on the cheek. He likely would not have made the catch, but Asche was ruled out anyway. d'Arnaud called it "Too funny" on Twitter afterwards.
